Once your tag is linked, scan it again to preview what others will see. Add any important details about your pet, such as medical conditions, medications, allergies, impairments, or temperament. You can also include personal reminder notes for vet appointments or medication refills. It’s your pet, so enter whatever information matters most to you Log in to choose which details, if any, you’d like to keep private.

If you do not activate the chip, no one knows who you are or how
to contact you!
A shelter will read the microchip number, but no owner information
is attached. Your pet is at risk of being adopted or being euthanized if an owner cannot be
found!
If someone finds your lost pet, there’s a good chance they’ll take him or her to a local shelter. That can mean lost time, added stress for your pet, and potential fees when you go to reclaim them.
Setting up a SafePlace helps prevent all of that. If we’re unable to reach you, your designated SafePlace gives us a trusted backup option.
Once you’re a member, log in and go to Emergency Contacts. Add your contact and designate them as a “Safe Place.” Neighbors, nearby friends, or family members make the best choices. If your pet is found, we’ll provide the finder with the location of your nearest Safe Place. Your pet can be safely dropped off there, avoiding the shelter entirely.
You can update or change your Safe Places at any time.
Now you can train your pet from anywhere, at anytime. Just
log in to your Member Dashboard, choose the video you need and train away!! Free to
members and updated frequently so training can be fun.

Yes. Additional Contacts can be provided and changed at any time. You may also add Emergency Contacts in case we can’t reach you or your contacts. Note: If your pet is found and we cannot reach you, your alternate contacts will be called.

Most countries require that a pet be microchipped in order to
enter that country. The chip number must be 15-digits long and is referred to as an ISO chip
(it meets the specifications of the International Standards Organization.)
You can order that chip here in our Store and
have your vet install it.

You will need the microchip number which can be obtained via a scanner used at a vet office or shelter. The chip could be registered with one of many companies. Start by entering the chip number into the Pet Microchip Lookuphttps://www.aaha.org/petmicrochiplookup. This search engine will tell you which company the chip is registered with. Call the company for owner information. If it’s registered with BuddyID®, click our logo for owner information.
